Review by hotel critic
Staying at the Antica was a rejuvenating experience amidst the beautiful Tuscan landscape. I appreciated the tranquil environment, ideal for unwinding. The hotel’s spa facilities played a significant role in my relaxation. I particularly enjoyed the sauna and steam room, soaking away my travel fatigue while surrounded by softly lit aesthetics that whispered serenity. The outdoor terrace was a lovely spot for leisurely afternoons. I could see the sun setting over the hills, providing a perfect backdrop for some personal reflection. The staff were attentive without being intrusive, always ready with recommendations for local dining options. Although I encountered a few challenges, like some inconsistencies in room cleanliness, I found the overall location and amenities well thought out for exploring Tuscany. The business corner, with its work desk and photocopy machine, was a nice touch for those needing to balance work with leisure. In sum, I found the Antica a solid choice for travelers seeking both relaxation and a base for exploring the region's rich history and culture. It might not be the perfect choice for everyone, but it certainly provided me with a pleasant retreat.
